Tomorrow’s Marvel Comics titles comtinue running old Stan’s Soapbox editorial comments from the comics in the sixties, in tribute to the man. (Talking of tributes, that Captain Marvel opener… man…)

Anyway, here’s tomorrow’s. And, topical as ever, it sees Stan Lee asking his readers if Marvel comics creators should include even more politics in their titles? That they had been asked by some readers to tackle subjects such as civil rights, the Vietnam war, and Stan confesses that it’s hard to keep their convictions out of their storytelling… but asks the readership as a whole what they thought?

Given that the comic books went on to tackle and involve themselves in all those matters, the response received must have been quite clear-cut…
