Rumor: Samsung to make 4 Galaxy Note 10 models

Samsung is definitely no stranger to making multiple models or versions of a single device. In the past, we’ve seen Samsung launch devices like the Galaxy S Advance, the Galaxy S3 mini, the Galaxy S4 mini, and so goes the list. For the most part, though, these were made to compliment their namesake flagship. Since the Galaxy S6, though, we’ve seen Samsung launch at least two flagship devices side to side: the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, you name it. With the Galaxy S10, this number has been increased to four: the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+, the Galaxy S10e, and the Galaxy S10 5G.

This strategy has worked out pretty well so far, but for the first time, it seems like they might be doing the same thing with the Galaxy Note line. According to a report surfaced online, it seems that Samsung will be preparing 4 different models of the Galaxy Note 10. We don’t really know what models Samsung could be launching, but it’s possible we could see a “smaller” one (possibly called the Galaxy Note 10e) and/or a 5G version. There’s also the possibility that we could be seeing an even bigger version, possibly sized similarly to Huawei’s Mate 20 X, but in my opinion, this seems highly unlikely.

Until now, Galaxy Note devices were locked to one single device per year. The only two exceptions to this rule have been the 2014’s Galaxy Note Edge (which was more of an experimental device than anything, introducing the curved edge screen to mainstream Samsung devices) and 2017’s Galaxy Note FE (a refurbished version of the recalled Galaxy Note 7, which used a smaller, completely safe battery). Launching 4 different versions of the Galaxy Note 10 would signify a big change of direction, something that Samsung seems to be actively seeking. There’s a lot of rumors floating around about the Galaxy Note 10, but we won’t get to know anything until it launches this fall.

Are you expecting the Galaxy Note 10? Let us know in the comments.
